With that in mind, condo insurance can help put you at ease knowing that your investment is protected. At Pinkerton Insurance, we know what it takes to make sure you are covered. In short, you go live the life you always imagined. Let us worry about your home.
What is covered by the Condo Association?
Condo ownership comes with some great perks. In example, your condominium associations typically covers the common areas like the pool or hall. Beyond that, they would cover the outer structure, and the drywall of your unit.
However, what they don’t cover is your personal property, or the liability that could arise from you the owner.
To sum it up, you may not be fully protected with your Associations Condo Insurance. Therefore, ask your association what is and is not covered. After that, give us a call so we can customize a policy for your new home.
What is in a Condo Unit Owners Policy (HO-6)?
By purchasing a condominium insurance policy, you can be sure that that above all else your belongings as well as your new home are fully protected.
Similar to homeowners insurance, an HO-6 policy offers protection for the interior of the dwelling. (IE: cabinets, flooring, improvements that you have made like updated sinks and lighting.) In addition, Personal Liability, Loss of Use, and a standard Mold and Fungi coverage are included. Furthermore, some of the optional coverages you may choose from are protections like Water Back-up, Animal Liability, and Personal Injury.
